Company Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Flour | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 egg, lightly beaten | ||
| Sour cream | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup low-cal mayonnaise | ||
| 14 oz. La Choy fancy mixed vegetables, rinsed and drained | ||
| Tuna | 7 Ounce, drained, flaked | |
| 2 tomatoes, peeled and 2 cut into wedges | ||
| 1/2 cup La Choy chow mein noodles, crushed | ||
Directions
Melt butter in a saucepan; add green pepper and cook 2 minutes.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Gradually add milk; cook, stirring, until slightly thickened.
Blend together egg, sour cream and mayonnaise; stir into sauce.
Add vegetables and tuna.
Turn into buttered 1 qt. (1 L.) casserole.
Arrange tomato wedges on top.
Sprinkle crushed noodles over tuna mixture.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
