2 quarts tender young comfrey leaves, washed well and coarsely shredded
 
1/3 cup boiling salted water
 
Salt to taste
 
2 tablespoons butter

Directions

1. Put the greens and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil, cover, and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
2. Drain very well. Add the salt and butter and toss well.
