Ingredients

 2 heads romaine lettuce
 1 large red or yellow bell pepper, cored, seeded, and sliced in thin strips
 1 red onion, thinly sliced in rings
 1 cucumber, sliced in rounds
 1 large tomato, cut in wedges
 Avocado1 , sliced
 4 radishes, trimmed and sliced
 1 bunch fresh cilantro, leaves chopped
 Balsamic vinegar3 Tablespoon (Dressing:)
 Olive oil1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Dressing:)
 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), mashed (Dressing:)
 1/4 teaspoon dried, crushed marjoram or basil
 Ground black pepper1 To taste (Dressing:)
 Salt To Taste

Directions

Whisk dressing ingredients together in bowl.
Set aside to develop flavors.
Break the lettuce leaves into large pieces.
Toss the rest of the salad ingredients together with lettuce in salad bowl.
Remove garlic clove from the dressing.
Whisk again and pour over salad just before serving.
Toss salad and serve.
