Colorful Black Bread Cubes Recipe
Ingredients
| Softened cream cheese | 1/2 Pound | |
| Whipping cream | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Several dashes of Worcestershire sauce | ||
| Parsley | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Chives | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Dill | 1 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Lemon juice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| 4 slices black bread | ||
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Several lettuce leaves | ||
Directions
Using a wire whisk beat the cream cheese with the cream until smooth.
Flavor the cheese mixture with the salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Divide it into three parts.
Mix the chopped herbs and lemon juice with one third of the cream cheese.
Mix the paprika, cayenne pepper and tomato paste with the second third.
Butter the slices of bread and spread each of the slices with a different-colored layer of cream cheese.
Stack them on top of each other, and top with another slice of bread.
Wrap and chill 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Cut the bread into four cubes with a sharp knife.
Wash and pat the lettuce leaves dry.
Arrange the cubes of bread with the lettuce on a serving plate.
