Colleen's Favorite Chili Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions - 2 medium, coarsely chopped | ||
| Beef - 1-1 1/2 pounds, ground, browned and drained | ||
| Garlic cloves - 2, minced fine, or | ||
| Garlic powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Green peppers | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley diced | |
| Tomatoes - 2 14 1/2-ounce cans, diced, or | ||
| Tomatoes - 1 quart, home-canned | ||
| Beans—kidney, pinto or mixture of the two - 30-32 ounce | ||
| Tomato sauce | 8 Can (10oz) | |
| Beaumonde spice - 1/4 teaspoon (optional) | ||
| Cumin | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Seasoned salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder - 1 Tablespoon or more, | ||
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a slow cooker combine all ingredients and cook on Low for 8-12 hours or High 5-6 hours.
SERVING
2. Serve as desired.
