Cold Zabaglione with Peaches Recipe

Ingredients

 
6 egg yolks
 
1/2 cup sugar
 
1/2 cup Marsala
 
1 cup heavy cream, Sliced fresh peaches

Directions

In top part of a double boiler, beat together egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale in color.
Gradually beat Marsala into mixture.
Place over boiling water, and continue beating until mixture foams up and begins to thicken.
Scrape sides and bottom of pan often.
Place pan in bowl of cracked ice, and continue beating until cold.
Whip heavy cream until stiff, and fold into cooled zabaglione.
Chill in refrigerator.
Spoon over lightly sweetened sliced peaches.
