Cold Crab Supreme Recipe
The cold crab supreme is a gelatin and crabmeat salad mold. Herbed and flavored with mayonnaise, the cold crab supreme is chilled and best served with eggs, shrimp and parsley garnish with russian dressing.
Ingredients
1 1/2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
2 cups crab meat, boned and flaked
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tbsp chives, chopped
1/2 tsp tarragon
Garnish: hard cooked egg wedges, baby shrimp, parsley
Directions
Soak gelatin in cold water and dissolve it over hot water.
Stir gelatin into mayonnaise and combine with crab meat, celery, parsley, chives and tarragon.
Pack into mold and chill in refrigerator.
Unmold and garnish with hard cooked egg wedges, baby shrimp and parsley.
Serve with Russian dressing.
