Colcannon Cabbage with Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| Cabbage | 1 pound, chopped | |
| Leeks | 2 Small, chopped | |
| Milk fat | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Potatoes | 1 pound, cooked | |
| 1/8 teaspoon mace or nutmeg | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In a saucepan or steamer over medium heat cook cabbage with a small amount of water until tender; drain.
In a saucepan combine leeks and milk.
Simmer until leeks are tender.
In a mixer bowl combine leeks and potatoes.
Beat until well mixed.
Add cabbage; beat well.
Add mace, salt and pepper.
