Coffee Shortbread Recipe

Ingredients
4 oz. butter
4 oz. flour
1 oz. cornflour
2 oz. castor sugar
1 dssrtspn. instant coffee
Directions
Cream the butter.
Beat in the castor sugar until fluffy.
Sift the flour, cornflour and instant coffee with a pinch of salt and knead in gradually into butter mixture.
Knead well to firm dough.
Dustaboard lightly with flour.
Roll out to Vz" thickness.
Cut into fancy shapes and prick with a fork.
Bake at 375° F for about 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and brush over with water icing.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
