Directions

Measure all ingredients.

Mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, salt and ginger in mixer.

Slowly add oil until you get a smooth mixture.

Remove 3/4 cup of mixture - add sliced almonds and remaining 1 tsp of cinnamon to the mixture. Mix well and set aside for topping.

To the flour mixture, add baking powder, baking soda, egg and buttermilk. Blend until you get a smooth batter.

Grease baking dish with touch of oil.

Pour the batter into the baking dish.

Sprinkle topping over the surface.

Bake at 325 to 350 F for about 35 minutes.
