Cod Sailor Style Recipe

Ingredients

 2 pounds cod steaks, about 1 inch thick
 Canned tomatoes2 Cup (16 tbs), sieved
 Green olives1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Capers2 Tablespoon
 Parsley1 Tablespoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Oregano1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

Put cod steaks into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Combine tomatoes, olives, capers, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano in a saucepan.
Bring to boiling and pour over cod.
Bake at 350°F 25 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
