Cooking oil
1/4 spoon black mustard seeds
1/4 spoon cumin seed jeera
1 teaspoon split bengal gram ( chana dal )
1 teaspoon split green gram ( moong dal )
Two table spoons of peanuts or groundnuts
Curry leaves
Green chilli pieces
Ginger powder
Coconut powder ( about 1/4 the quantity of the rice. )
Cilantro
Salt
Cooled down rice
Papadum ( papad )
Directions
First off make an ordinary papad ...and keep away ..
Heat some cooking oil and add to it in sequence .. 1/4 spoon black mustard seeds, 1/4 spoon jeera, 1 teaspoon chana dall, 1 teaspoon moong dall, two table spoons of peanuts / groundnuts, curry leaves, green chilli peices, ginger peices, and wait for the peanuts to cook / fry crisp .. then turn off the heat and add the coconut powder ( about 1/4 the quantity of the rice.. ) and cilantro and salt and thoroughly mix with previously cooked and cooled down rice... Then crush the papad and add to the coconut rice.. then
EAT !
