Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and va- nilla in saucepan.
Cook, stirring, over medium heat for about 12 minutes or until thickened.
Add coconut and pecans.
Beat until frosting is cool and of spreading consistency.
Spread between layers and over top and side of cake.
