Coconut Flan Recipe Video
I threw this quick video together to accompany my December 23, 2007 Nowlive radio show, promoting my book, Eat What You Want and Die Like a Man - The World's Unhealthiest Cookbook. It's an original recipe for coconut flan.

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 350°F.
2) Place 1 1/2 inch deep water bath on bottom rack. Make sure water is at boiling temperature.
MAKING
3) In a bowl, blend the wet ingredients and salt with a mixer.
4) Caramelize the sugar over high heat and coat the bottom of a 9inch baking dish.
5) Place the dish in bath and pour the mixture into baking dish.

9) Run a knife around the edge of the flan and invert onto a plate.
SERVING
10) Slice the flan and serve just like that or make caramel syrup from the caramel stuck to the dish, pour over the flan and serve.
