COCONUT CURRY SAUCE Recipe
A dash of lemon juice livens up the flavor of this Coconut Curry Sauce. Serve this Coconut Curry Sauce with rice or any vegetable dish that asks for a gravy thickener.
Ingredients
Fresh coconut - 1
Milk – 1 pint
Onions – 2, sliced
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Oil – 4 tablespoons
Turmeric and coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Chilli –as per taste
Salt- as per taste
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Grate the coconut.
2. Pour lemon juice over it.
MAKING
3. In a pan, heat oil.
4. Add onions and fry it.
5. Add ground turmeric, coriander and chilli and let it cook very gently on a low flame for 5 minutes.
6. Add grated coconut and let it cook for a further 5 minutes.
7. Add milk and salt and let it simmer until it is done.

8. Serve Coconut Curry Sauce with a chicken or shrimp preparation.
