Coconut Crumb Cake Recipe
Simply yummy!!!! These two words come to the mind instantly when you taste this Coconut Crumb Cake. This is the most comforting Dessert recipe I have come across. The marriage of the amazing flavors of Fruits with other ingredients is the secret to this Coconut Crumb Cake. It would be a sin to not try this sinfully delicious Coconut Crumb Cake recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) margarine
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 (7 ounce) package flaked coconut
Directions
Cream the margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add the vanilla wafer crumbs to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in the chopped nuts and coconut.
Spoon into a greased tube pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the cake tests done.
