Ingredients

 Grated coconut1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Roasted bengal gram3 Tablespoon (daliya)
 Green chilies5
 Peeled and chopped ginger1 Inch
 Chopped cilantro1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (coriander)
 Cumin seeds1⁄2 Teaspoon (jeera)
 Yoghurt2 Tablespoon
 Lemon juice1⁄2 Tablespoon
 Urad daal1 Teaspoon (split black gram)
 Urad dal1 Teaspoon (split black gram)
 Mustard seeds1 Teaspoon
 Dried red chilies2
 Curry leaves8
 Asafoetida1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Oil2 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste

Directions

Grind the first seven ingredients to a fine paste,add salt to it.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add split black dal(urad),then add mustard and cook it till it crackles.
Now add asafoetida,curry leaves and red chilies.
fry it for a minute.
pour it in the grinded paste and mix it all well.
Serve it with idlis,dosas,uthapams.
