Directions

Cream butter; add sugars gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
Add egg and beat well.
Add nuts, coconut, and cereal and mix thoroughly(Mixture will be dry).
Shape into rounds by pressing mixture by tablespoonfuls against side of mixing bowl.
Drop carefully on lightly greased baking sheet and bake in moderate oven (350°F.) for 10 minutes, or until done.
Remove at once from baking sheet.
Makes 36 chews.
Coconut Sugar Crisp Chew:.
Use recipe for Coconut Chews (left), but substitute 4 cups Post Sugar Crisp for 5 cups Post Toasties.
Bake as directed and allow to stand for 3 to 4 minutes before removing from baking sheet.
