1) Take a saucepan and combine in it dates, sugar, margarine, eggs and salt in it. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
2) Add 1 cup coconut and 2 1/2 cups of cereal. Mix nicely.
3) Shape the mixture into balls of equal size. Set aside to cool.
4) Place on a snack dish and serve.
