Ingredients

 Butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Milk1 1/4 Tablespoon
 All-purpose flour - 1 1/3 cups
 Baking powder1 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Flaked coconut

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

MAKING
2) Mix the butter with the sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
3) Now add in the milk mixing it thoroughly.
4) Combine together the flour, baking powder and salt and add to the creamed mixture. Let it chill for several hours.
5) Sprinkle a board liberally with coconut flakes. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch (5 mm) and cut into strips 4 inches x 1/2 inch (10cm x 1 cm).
6) Place on an ungreased cookie sheet such that the ends end up forming rings. Sprinkle with flaked coconut once again and bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for about ten minutes.

SERVING
7) Serve as a snack.
