Solar Cooked Coconut Macaroons Recipe Video
Make crispy coconut macaroons in a solar cooker. The macaroons are much more crispier than the regular ones.
Ingredients
½ cup Cake flour
1 cup Sweetened Coconut flakes
1 teaspoon Almond extract
½ cup Sugar
One Egg white
Kosher salt to taste
Directions
Mix sweetened coconut flakes, kosher salt, cake flour, sugar, almond extract and egg white in a bowl. Drop round balls of the mixture with a round spoon on a greased non stick pan. Place the pan in a solar heater and cook the macaroons till golden brown. It will take nearly 2 hours for the macaroons to brown.
