Coconut Crust Recipe
Ingredients
| Flake coconut - 1 1/2 cups | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Graham cracker crumbs | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley crushed | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pecans | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Pumpkin pie spice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Orange peel | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 375°Fahrenheit.
MAKING
2 In a bowl, add coconut and butter; mix well.
3 Add in the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
4 Over bottom and around sides of 9-inch pie plate, press the mixture firmly.
5 Bake in the oven for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
6 Allow to chill.
SERVING
7 Serve filled with ice cream, chiffon or cream pie filling.
