Ingredients

 Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butter margarine3/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened
 Milk1 Tablespoon
 Egg1
 All purpose flour1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), unbleached
 Cocoa1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking powder1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Dash

Directions

In large bowl, combine sugar, margarine, milk and egg; blend well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Chill dough 1 hour.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Divide dough in half On lightly floured surface, roll dough, one half at a time, to 1/3-inch thickness.
Cut with floured cookie cutter.
Place 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges are set.
Remove from cookie sheet; cool completely.
Frost and decorate as desired.
