Cocktail Idli Manchurian Recipe
Idli cooked in tasty Manchurian gravy.

Ingredients
| 1). 30 cocktail idlis | ||
| Green chillies | 2 , finely chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Small, finley chopped | |
| Garlic | 4 . 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Ginger | 5 . 1/2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Soy sauce | 6 . 3 Teaspoon | |
| Vinegar | 7 . 1 Teaspoon | |
| 8). 3 tbsp or more tomato ketchup | ||
| 9). Chopped cilantro or chopped green onion for garnishing | ||
| Corn starch | 1 Teaspoon, mixed | |
| Oil | 11 . 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
1. Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Fry till golden brown.
2. Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and saute for few seconds.
3. Add soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup and salt. Mix well.
4. Add corn starch and bring it to a boil.
5. Now add the idlis and mix so as to coat it well with the sauce.
6. Serve hot garnished with cilantro or green onion.

Nice recipe! To make it more "authentic", one can dip the idli cubes in maida and corn starch mix and fry (Just like Manchurian)first and then make the sauce mentioned above.
Then add idli cubes to it.
This is the recipe from a very famous restaurant in Nilgiris.
I prepare this very often as it is one of the favorites at home.

I used to hear that one of the hotels in Mangalore prepared Idli Manchurian. I never tasted that but now I tried to prepare it in my own way.
