Directions

Soften yeast in water.
Add butter or oil, honey, and salt.
Mix well, then add egg.
When well blended, add flour and mix until dough is soft.
Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
Roll each part to a 5 x 16-inch rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
Mix cheese, olives, and walnuts and spread over dough.
Roll as for a jelly roll, starting with the 16-inch side.
Cut into 1/2-inch slices, and place on greased baking sheet.
Flatten out slightly.
Cover with cloth and let rise in warm place about 45 minutes, until light.
Preheat oven to 425° F.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
