Coated Catfish Recipe
Ingredients
| Catfish | 8 , dressed | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Water | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cup instant mashed potatoes | ||
| 2 envelopes onion salad dressing mix | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Thaw frozen fish.
Season with salt and pepper.
Combine eggs and water.
Mix potato flakes and dressing mix.
Dip fish into egg mixture, then roll in potato mixture; repeat.
Brown fish in hot oil on one side for 4 to 5 minutes.
Turn gently; brown on other side 4 to 5 minutes until fish is golden and flakes easily.
