Clove Glazed Turkey Recipe
The clove glazed turkey is a savory and flavorful turkey preparation. Made with red currt jelly and whole cloves for a strong flavor, the clove glazed turkey is a roasted recipe. Fruity and spicy sweet, it is cooked and served with a spiced currant sauce.
Ingredients
| 3-pound Boneless Turkey, thawed | ||
| Whole Cloves | 20 | |
| Red currant jelly | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 pineapple slice, cut into halves | ||
| Maraschino cherries | 2 | |
| Spiced Currant Sauce | ||
Directions
Press cloves into turkey.
Melt jelly in small saucepan over medium heat.
Brush 1 1/2 tablespoons jelly over turkey.
Roast turkey according to package directions; omit brushing with oil.
About 30 minutes before turkey is done, brush with remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons jelly.
Wrap turkey in foil and let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove netting from turkey.
Garnish with pineapple and maraschino cherries.
Slice turkey and serve with Spiced Currant Sauce.
