Clear Tomato Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Brown soup stock- 1 quart | ||
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Peppercorns | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Small bay-leaf- 1 | ||
| Cloves | 3 | |
| Thyme sprig | 3 | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley sprigs | 2 | |
| Onion, carrot, celery, raw ham- 1/4 cup, each, cut in dice | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a saucepan, place the onion, carrot, celery, ham, and butter and cook it together for 5 minutes
2.Then add tomatoes, peppercorns, bay leaf, cloves, thyme and parsley, cover it with a lid and cook slowly for 60 minutes
3.Take the ingredients and strain it properly and carefully
4.Now add hot stock, and season with salt and pepper
SERVING
5.Serve with salads
TIPS
This recipe may be used for jellied soup too

2.Then add tomatoes, peppercorns, bay leaf, cloves, thyme and parsley, cover it with a lid and cook slowly for 60 minutes
3.Take the ingredients and strain it properly and carefully
4.Now add hot stock, and season with salt and pepper
