Classic Open Face Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
| Jarlsburg/Swiss cheese - 1 slice | ||
| Whole wheat bread slice | 1 | |
| Tomato slice | 1 | |
| Alfalfa sprouts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1. Turn the oven setting to broil or use a counter top broiler
2. Place cheese over the bread and heat the bread until the cheese begins to bubble and brown; take care not to overbrown it
3. Turn it out of the oven, and top with tomato and sprouts; you may even add tomato earlier while the cheese cooks to that it cooks too
SERVING
4. Serve as per your tastes
