Directions

GETTING READY
1. Cook rice according to package directions. Drain, and cover with foil to keep it warm.

MAKING
2. In a deep skillet or oven, combine smoked sausage, ham, celery, garlic, and onion. Stir constantly and cook over medium to high heat until sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender.
3. Add beef broth, ground black pepper, and ground red pepper. Stir and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
4. Stir in the cooked rice.

SERVING
5. Serve hot with French bread.
