Classic Chocolate Fondue Recipe

Ingredients

 3 bars (3 ounces each)
 Toblerone chocolate
 Cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Kirsch2 Tablespoon

Directions

Break up the chocolate into triangular pieces.
Combine all ingredients in small chafing dish, chocolate fondue pot or top of small double-boiler.
Stir over direct low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Set over hot water to keep warm while serving.
For dunking, use pieces of fruit, speared on fondue forks (apple slices, banana chunks, seedless grapes, pineapple chunks, tangerine sections, strawberries, mandarin oranges, etc.all well-drained.), angel food torn into bite-size peices, split and halved ladyfingers, Butter Sponge Cake or Miniature Cream Puffs or brandy, cognac, light dry rum, applejack or 1 tablespoon instant coffee or 1/4 teaspoon each cinnamon and allspice.
