Classic Caesar Recipe
Ingredients
| Salt | 5 Milliliter | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 3 anchovy fillets | ||
| Dry mustard | 3 Milliliter | |
| Lemon juice | 15 Milliliter | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Milliliter | |
| Tabasco sauce | 3 Drop | |
| Red wine vinegar | 15 Milliliter | |
| Cracked black pepper | 3 Milliliter | |
| Olive oil | 60 Milliliter | |
| Egg yolk | 1 | |
| Romaine lettuce head | 1 , washed | |
| 1 hard cooked, grated egg | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 80 Milliliter, grated | |
| 80 ml diced, cooked bacon | ||
| Croutons | 125 Milliliter | |
Directions
Rub the bottom of a large wooden bowl with the salt.
Add the garlic and anchovy fillets, mash with two forks.
Add the mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire, Tabasco, vinegar, pepper and oil.
Blend thoroughly.
Add the egg yolk and mix well.
Cut the lettuce into bite size pieces.
Toss lettuce with dressing.
Serve the salad on chilled plates.
Garnish with egg, cheese, bacon and croutons.
