Ingredients

 Salt5 Milliliter
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 3 anchovy fillets
 Dry mustard3 Milliliter
 Lemon juice15 Milliliter
 Worcestershire sauce1 Milliliter
 Tabasco sauce3 Drop
 Red wine vinegar15 Milliliter
 Cracked black pepper3 Milliliter
 Olive oil60 Milliliter
 Egg yolk1
 Romaine lettuce head1 , washed
 1 hard cooked, grated egg
 Parmesan cheese80 Milliliter, grated
 80 ml diced, cooked bacon
 Croutons125 Milliliter

Directions

Rub the bottom of a large wooden bowl with the salt.
Add the garlic and anchovy fillets, mash with two forks.
Add the mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire, Tabasco, vinegar, pepper and oil.
Blend thoroughly.
Add the egg yolk and mix well.
Cut the lettuce into bite size pieces.
Toss lettuce with dressing.
Serve the salad on chilled plates.
Garnish with egg, cheese, bacon and croutons.
Serve at once.
