1/4 cup water
 
6 fresh clams, thoroughly washed

Directions

1. Pour water into 2-quart glass casserole.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes or until boiling. Place clams into boiling water. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
3. Microwave on ROAST for 4 to 5 minutes or until shell opens. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes. Clam meat should be firm when done.
