Clam Savory Recipe




 Butter3 Tablespoon
 Onion1 Small, peeled, finely chopped
 Green pepper1⁄2 , finely chopped
 Canned clams7 1⁄2 Ounce, drained, chopped
 Grated cheese1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomato puree1 Tablespoon
 Worcestershire sauce1 Tablespoon
 Sherry1 Tablespoon
 Cayenne pepper dill pickle1⁄8 Teaspoon
 Buttered toast5 (Hot)

Heat the butter in a saute pan, add onion and green pepper, and saute for 3 minutes.
Add clams, cheese, tomato puree, worcestershire sauce, sherry and cayenne pepper, and cook for a few minutes until the cheese has melted, stirring all the time.
Put a thin slice of dill pickle on each slice of toast and serve the clam mixture on top.
