Clam Pe Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups canned clams, ground or minced, and drained, reserving juice | ||
| 1/2 cup cracker crumbs | ||
| Clam Juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 egg, well-beaten | ||
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery stalks | 2 Small | |
| Onion | 1 Small | |
| 2 9-inch unbaked pie crusts | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Grind celery and onion in blender with clam juice.
Mix all ingredients.
Pour into bottom pie shell, dot with butter.
Cover top with second pie crust.
Prick top crust.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
