Clam Chowder Manhattan Recipe
Ingredients

| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt pork | 1/4 pound, chopped | |
| 1 cup chopped raw potatoes | ||
| Boiling water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups sievea canned tomatoes | ||
| Chopped | 2 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/8 Teaspoon | |

Directions
1. Saute onion, garlic and celery with the salt pork 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Add the potatoes, water and tomatoes. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
3. Add the chopped clams, salt, pepper and thyme. Simmer 2 or 3 minutes more.
