Ingredients

 Bacon Slices2
 1 7-oz. can minced clams with liquid
 Potato1 Large, peeled
 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Water1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Evaporated milk1 13 Ounce
 Butter1 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Put bacon in a 2-quart casserole.
Cover with paper towel.
Microwave 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until crisp.
Remove paper towel and bacon; leave drippings in casserole.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Add clams, liquid, potato, onion and water.
Cover and microwave 8 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
Add milk, bacon, seasonings and butter.
Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes until it comes to a boil.
Let stand 2 minutes.
