Clam Cheese Ball Recipe
The clam cheese ball is prepared with minced clam and two cheese mix. Made with canned minced clams, the clam cheese ball is combined with cream cheese, chilled and shaped into balls. Rolled in a garlic and parsley flavored grated parmesan cheese to finish, they are once again chilled before serving and are great as appetizers.
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can Minced Clams, well drained
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Directions
In small mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Stir in clams, pepper and garlic powder.
Cover; chill about 1 hour.
Shape into ball.
In small bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and parsley.
Roll ball in Parmesan cheese mixture.
Cover; chill several hours to blend flavors, Garnish as desired.
