Clam Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup cottage cheese with chives
1/4 cup sour cream
1/3 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon melted shortening or oil
2 tablespoons dried sweet pepper flakes
1 can (about 7 to 8 oz.) minced clams, with juice
About 2/3 cup flour
Sour cream or yogurt for topping
Directions
In a bowl stir all ingredients, except sour cream or yogurt for topping, until completely mixed.
Pour dollar-sized patties on a greased griddle and cook on each side until brown.
