Citrus Steamed Salmon And Shrimp Recipe

The citrus steamed salmon and shrimp is a beautiful recipe for preparing salmon along with shrimp. I love the way the strong flavors of both the fish and shrimp mingle together with the gentle tang of lemon. Ingredients

 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets, cut in 2x1 inch pieces
 3/4 pound uncooked shelled shrimp
 Lemon juice1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lime juice1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Paprika1 Teaspoon
 Coriander seed1 Teaspoon, crushed
 Cardamom1 Teaspoon, crushed
 Parsley sprigs

Directions

Place salmon and shrimp in a shallow glass dish.
Mix remaining ingredients except parsley and pour over fish.
Refrigerate covered 30 minutes; stir twice.
Transfer fish and marinade to a large skillet.
Simmer covered 4 minutes; stir and simmer uncovered 2 minutes.
Add shrimp to skillet; simmer covered just until shrimp are done (about 3 minutes).
Arrange fish and shrimp on a serving platter.
Spoon pan juices over.
Garnish with parsley.
