3 cups cooked, pitted prunes
 
1 cup prune juice
 
4 tablespoons lemon juice
 
1/2 cup corn syrup
 
2 tablespoons cornstarch
 
1/8 teaspoon salt
 
1 tablespoon water
 
1 8-inch baked pie shell
 
Orange sections

Directions

Combine prunes, juices and corn syrup in saucepan.
Stir in cornstarch, salt and water.
Cook over low heat until thick- ened, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool.
Pour into baked pie shell and garnish with orange sections.
Makes one 8-inch pie.
