Citrus Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
Sugar – ¾ cup
Flour – 1 ½ tablespoon
Salt – ¼ teaspoon
Orange Peel – 2 teaspoons
Orange Juice – 1/3 cup
Lemon Juice – 2 ½ tablespoon
Egg – 1 egg, slightly beaten
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Whipping Cream – 1 cup
Directions
MAKING
1) Atop a double boiler, mix in the sugar, flour and salt
2) Add in the grated orange peel, orange juice, lemon juice, egg and mix well
3) Cook till the mixture is thickened, stirring frequently
4) Add in the butter and keep aside to cool
5) In another bowl, whip the cream till stiff and fold into the cooked mixture
SERVING
7) Use as a filling and frosting 3 layers of a carrot cake
