Citrus Shrimp Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix | ||
| 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice | ||
| 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon or lime peel | ||
| 1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil | ||
| 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves or 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves, crushed | ||
| Large shrimp | 1 pound, deveined | |
| Cherry tomatoes | 8 | |
| 3 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces | ||
| Mushrooms | 8 Small | |
Directions
In small bowl, blend savory herb with garlic soup mix, lemon juice, lemon peel, oil and basil; add shrimp.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator, stirring occasionally, at least 2 hours.
Remove shrimp from marinade, reserving marinade.
On 4 skewers, alternately thread shrimp and vegetables.
Broil or grill, turning and basting frequently with reserved marinade, until shrimp turn pink.
