Directions
Any of these fruits may be substituted for each other.
However, the best marmalade is made from fruits used in equal proportions.
Cut grapefruit and oranges into quarters, remove seeds and slice finely.
Cut cumquats in half, seed and slice.
Peel limes and slice the inner flesh.
Place fruit in a bowl and cover with water.
Leave overnight.
Boil till the skins are tender, cool and measure in cups.
Add 1 cup of sugar to each cup of pulp, Boil till testing a small amount in a saucer shows that jam will set.
