Citrus Herb Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 large or 8 small chicken wings | ||
| Lemon juice | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Lime juice | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Plenty of black pepper | ||
| 1 generous tsp ground ginger | ||
| Sweet paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 or 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped | ||
| Parsley | 3 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Dried tarragon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tsp dried dill weed | ||
Directions
Oil an ovenproof dish large enough to take the chicken wings side by side in one layer.
Rinse the chicken, pat dry and arrange in the dish.
Stir the fruit juices together and pour them over the chicken, then mix the seasoning, spices and herbs and sprinkle evenly over the wings.
Cover the dish with foil and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
Heat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for a further 20 minutes.
Let the chicken cool, then refrigerate or freeze until needed.
