Quick Citrus Grilled Whole Fish With Lime Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 whole fish such as salmon, bluefish, red snapper or trout, cleaned | ||
| Vegetable oil | ||
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 1 or 2 limes, thinly sliced | ||
| 1 or 2 lemons, thinly sliced | ||
| Lime Butter | ||
Directions
Rinse inside cavity of fish under cold running water; pat dry with paper toweling.
Brush cavity with oil and season with pepper.
Overlap alternating lime and lemon slices in cavity of fish.
Measure thickness of fish at its thickest part to determine cooking time.
Place fish in oiled wire grill basket.
Grill fish, on covered grill, over medium-hot briquets 10 to 12 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
Turn fish halfway through cooking time.
