Citrus Currant Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup currant jelly
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon red-pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon chopped dill OR 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 1/2 caps orange juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
Directions
1. In small saucepan heat currant jelly, onion, red-pepper sauce, salt, dry mustard, ginger, dill and orange juice until boiling.
2. Blend cornstarch with cold water and stir into mixture in saucepan. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
