Cioppino Recipe

Ingredients
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Onion | 1 Large, diced | |
| Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Green bell pepper | 1 To taste, diced | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Carrot | 1 , grated | |
| White wine | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Scallops | 1/2 pound | |
| Prawns | 1/2 pound | |
| 2 halibut steaks, cubed | ||
| 1 dozen clams in shell | ||
| Clams | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 12 snow crab legs | ||
| Shrimp meat | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Brown the garlic and onion in the olive oil in a large kettle over medium heat.
Add the bell pepper, celery, carrot and wine and cook for 1 or 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the parsley, basil, bay leaf, salt, pepper, tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the scallops, prawns, halibut, clams, canned clams, crab legs and shrimp meat.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
