Cioppino Recipe
Cioppino is an amazingly delicious recipe. Try this tempting and alluring Cioppino; I am sure you will always want to have it in your coming parties!
Ingredients
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 large onion, diced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup diced celery
1 carrot, grated
1 1/2 cups white wine
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon basil
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 pound scallops
1/2 pound prawns
2 halibut steaks, cubed
1 dozen clams in shell
1 (7 ounce) can baby clams
12 snow crab legs
2 cups shrimp meat
Directions
Brown the garlic and onion in the olive oil in a large kettle over medium heat.
Add the bell pepper, celery, carrot and wine and cook for 1 or 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the parsley, basil, bay leaf, salt, pepper, tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the scallops, prawns, halibut, clams, canned clams, crab legs and shrimp meat.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the bell pepper, celery, carrot and wine and cook for 1 or 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the parsley, basil, bay leaf, salt, pepper, tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the scallops, prawns, halibut, clams, canned clams, crab legs and shrimp meat.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
