Cinnamon Ring Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot milk - 1 cup | ||
| Flour - 3 to 3 1/2 cups | ||
| Yeast package | 1 | |
| Eggs – 2, lightly beaten | ||
| Melted margarine | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 350° F.
MAKING
2) Take a large mixing bowl and combine salt, 1/4 cup sugar and margarine in it.
3) Add hot milk and stir until margarine melts completely.
4) Add 1 cup of flour and blend with mixer.
5) Add 1 cup flour and yeast. Stir nicely and add the eggs.
6) Add all the remaining flour gradually. Mix nicely.
7) Let rise in a warm place until double in bulk.
8) Punch down and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
9) Roll the dough in melted butter.
10) Mix cinnamon, walnuts and remaining sugar nicely together on waxed paper.
11) Roll the dough in this mixture and fit into a greased tube pan,
12) Bake for about 35-40 minutes.
