 Brown rice3/4 Cup(16 tbs)
 Raisins1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Ground cinnamon2 Teaspoon
 Onion powder3/4 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder3/4 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground black pepper1/16 Teaspoon
 Water2 1/4 Cup(16 tbs)
 1 Tablespoon
 Chopped almonds

Directions

Combine rice, raisins, cinnamon, onion and garlic powders, salt, black pepper and water in a medium size saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with almonds.
